Third-party administration

Your file held and run on your behalf — instructions out, reports in, records in one place. Service 15 — After the loss.

When you instruct one.

  • You write African cargo risks but have no one on the continent to run the files.
  • Claims arrive in several countries and no two are handled the same way.
  • You need consistent reporting and a single audit trail across a portfolio.
  • Coordination, not expertise, is what is actually missing.

What we do.

  • 01Take instructions in one place. One channel, one reference format, one acknowledgement standard.
  • 02Appoint and brief on your behalf. Surveyors, lawyers, recovery agents — appointed to your mandate, not ours.
  • 03Hold the file. Documents, correspondence, reports and decisions, in one place and retrievable.
  • 04Report to your format. Your reserving categories, your reporting cycle, your templates.
  • 05Keep the audit trail. So the file can be handed back, or handed on, intact.

What you receive.

  • A single point of administration for your African files.
  • Reporting in your own format and on your own cycle.
  • A complete, retrievable file for every matter handled.
  • A clean handover whenever you want it back.

What we need from you

  • Your mandate and authority limits
  • Your reporting format and cycle
  • The portfolio or territories in scope
  • Your escalation and reserving rules

What we hold ourselves to

  • 2–24hA surveyor instructed from the network nearest the cargo.
  • 24–48hYour update on the appraisal, with photographs and the key information.
  • 72hThe detailed preliminary report, after the survey assessment.
  • 45 daysExpected turnover per mission. The final report follows the loss mitigation or destruction operation.

Attendance on site depends on distance to the port and on terminal and customs access, so that is confirmed on your file rather than promised as one number for every port on the continent.
